Since he graduated as an Agronomist in 2016, Mathieu Almeida had a knack for long-distance running as well as improving his knowledge and skills on Remote Sensing and PrecisionAg.
He worked on B2B PrecisionAg projects using drone and satellite images before joining Geosys to lead the Farmsat service (Nitrogen management service).
Now, he’s been working at Geosys as a PrecisionAg services delivery manager which allows him to diversify his actions, projects and customers. His role is to deliver the right analytics and services to the right customer. He targets customers priorities that will be developed by Geosys R&D and IT Teams.
“I’m always impressed by the multiple remote sensing applications for agriculture. We often brainstorm at Geosys to answer customer needs and develop new capabilities as Radar images integration. I like working with colleagues with different skills. We are making innovation together,” said Mathieu.
Mathieu believes that technology can help the agriculture sector to improve their production while respecting the environment and reducing its impact on climate change. He hopes Geosys will be able to do it thanks the new EarthDaily satellites constellation: “We’re only at the start of the adventure with the EarthDaily launch planned for 2023.” Mathieu said.
